 The geniYES Consulting Services provides professional confidential counseling and psychological services to schools, colleges and other institutions. Our consultancy group was created in response to an increasing number of enquiries from the educational institutions in the view of Supreme Court orders to appoint a psychologist for every proffessional college.
Who we are?
We are a group of proffessionally qualified and well skilled psychologists. We are committed to enhance the emotional growth of students by promoting balanced lifestyles, positive self-esteem, and essential life skills with an emphasis on the development of the whole person. Our Psychological Services provides psychological counseling services and psychoeducational programs for students, as well as responsive consultation to the college community.
What we deal with?
In counseling, we deal issues such as ragging, anxiety, depression, stress management, academic concerns, family and relationship problems, grief, loneliness, eating disorders, substance abuse, dating violence and self-esteem difficulties. The personal growth and the sound mental health and safety of the students are important to any educational institution. Therefore, members of the Faculty and Staff can refer students for counseling. Students can also refer other students. All sessions are confidential in keeping with professional ethics.
We provide individual counseling, with the possibility of group counseling depending on the need. Although we have a basic short-term model of counseling, the number of sessions depends on the needs of each student and the mutual goals for treatment agreed upon between the counselor and the student. One of the psychological services we provide appropriate mental health tests and assessments. What we believe?
We believe it is important to serve as a mental health resource for the entire campus community and are actively involved in Outreach, from individualized programs in classrooms to larger programs with special guest presenters open to all. We provide free brochures on various issues common to college students, as well as a lending library of books available from the counselors.
